Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Purchase Manager to oversee the company’s procurement operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of goods and services. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and vendor management skills to support smooth business operations and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives.

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.

Manage purchase orders, supplier contracts, and inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production and supply.

Monitor supplier performance and maintain long-term relationships for consistent quality and reliability.

Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and new sourcing options.

Collaborate with finance, production, and logistics teams for seamless procurement operations.

Maintain accurate records of materials purchased, cost analysis, and supplier databases.

Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations in all purchasing activities.

Forecast procurement needs based on production schedules and business growth plans.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing management, preferably in [industry type—e.g., manufacturing, construction, or retail].

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Proficient in ERP systems, MS Office, and inventory management tools.
